Peter is a Principal and Director of Douglas Partners, based in the Sydney office. His professional qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) and Master of Engineering Management. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ), is on the National Engineering Register (NER), and is a Professional Engineer (PRE) and Design Practitioner (DEP) in NSW. He is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
Peter has a wide range of experience in both undertaking and reviewing geotechnical and contaminated site projects. This includes earthworks, excavation stability, excavation impacts, movement monitoring, foundations, piles, road and heavy duty pavements, railway infrastructure, subdivisions, groundwater, dewatering impacts, vibration monitoring, contaminated site assessments, remediation planning, site validation, waste classification, ENM/VENM assessments, groundwater quality assessments, asbestos monitoring and acid sulphate soils. He has worked on multi-disciplinary design teams for tender submissions as well as the project delivery phase.
Clients include government agencies, publicly-listed developers, private developers, community organisations, schools, architects, consulting engineers, planners, construction contractors, builders, piling contractors and earthworks contractors.
