Since graduating in 1997 and becoming chartered in 2007, Tim has gained consulting experience in geotechnical and geological engineering, soil and rock mechanics, earthworks and related disciplines in the UK, throughout Australia and Papua New Guinea.
During this time he has been involved in a variety of works including geotechnical and environmental investigations becoming skilled in design, supervision and management of ground investigations, site inspections, geological mapping and modelling, slope stability and settlement analysis, risk and hazard assessments, soil and rock mechanics, in-situ testing, earthworks and related disciplines. He has held various positions and project managed small to large contracts, from tender stage to completion of construction. Tim’s roles also included Health and Safety Adviser/Branch Safety Officer here in Australia and the UK, along with the mentoring/scrutineering of CGeol candidates.
