Our second Consulting Women@Douglas Conference took place in early November at Darling Harbour, Sydney, gathering our female engineers, scientists and shared services leaders from across Australia.
The event carries on our purpose of uniting participants, engaging in meaningful discussions on challenges faced by women in the industry and most notably collaborate and devise innovative solutions to benefit the entire business.
The conference provided reflection on the past year, highlighting various progress made and celebrating our wins. It is by supporting initiatives like this, we continue the conversation on what matters to not only women, but our people more broadly.
This year’s agenda featured opportunities for divergent thinking and collaborative workshops, with a specific focus on issues including training and career development, on-site challenges, wellbeing and balancing family commitments.
