Anthony Sweetland, our Macarthur Laboratory Manager, has been appointed for a further term on NATA’s Geotechnical and Civil Construction Accreditation Advisory Committee (AAC) having previously served on the AAC for the last five years.
NATA appoints technical committees, known as AACs, which consist of a group of experts appointed by NATAs board. The committees are appointed for activities for which accreditation is offered with their primary role being to provide advice on technical matters and administrative support for particular areas of interest as defined by NATA.
Such committees primarily provide advice on:
- Technical guidance
- Develop and review technical criteria
- Reviewing assessment reports
- Approving new technical assessors.
Anthony has over 30 years’ experience in Earthworks and Laboratory Testing and is also a member of Standards Australia review committee and a NATA technical assessor and signatory for RMS & Australian Standards for soils, aggregate and concrete testing.
